Key takeaways

  • The best Fast Bundle alternative depends on the part you cannot lose: individual SKU handling, mix-and-match, subscriptions, POS, or storefront design.
  • Simple Bundles & Kits is the clearest replacement when component SKU breakdown and 3PL fulfilment matter most.
  • Rebolt is the closest broad replacement for merchants using Fast Bundle for bundles, BOGO, gifts, cart offers, and post-purchase upsells.
  • Bundler is the strongest low-cost option, while Shopify Bundles is the fastest free fix for simple fixed sets.
  • Fudge can inspect surviving theme code and rebuild the bundle experience as native theme code, but it is not a dedicated inventory or subscription engine.

If you are looking for Fast Bundle alternatives because your offers disappeared, start by checking what is actually broken. Do not install the first app with a similar name and hope the settings transfer.

Fast Bundle’s official Shopify App Store listing is live again as of August 3, 2026. Fast Bundle says Shopify completed its review of both the incident report and the third-party penetration-test report, considered the security issue resolved on Fast Bundle’s side, and restored the app to limited visibility on July 30. Existing merchants can reinstall from the direct listing, and Fast Bundle says their previous bundle configurations will be restored.12

For the confirmed timeline, the limits of the public evidence, and a theme-audit prompt, read our Fast Bundle security attack explainer.

Fast Bundle’s return removes the need for an emergency migration if reinstalling restores your offers and you are comfortable with the vendor’s response. An alternative still makes sense if you want a different fulfilment model, lower pricing, native theme code, or less dependence on one app.

This comparison is for merchants deciding whether to reinstall Fast Bundle or switch. Pricing, ratings, and app availability can change, so verify each live Shopify App Store listing before installing.

Why you can trust us

We have worked inside Shopify for more than four years and helped hundreds of merchants change, debug, and rebuild their storefronts. We also build Fudge, an AI storefront editor that reads a store’s real theme code, creates changes in a draft theme, and can build bundle experiences without a third-party storefront widget.

We are including Fudge in this comparison, but it is not the answer for every merchant. If your main requirement is subscription renewal logic or warehouse-specific bundle decomposition, a dedicated bundle app is usually the better fit.

Fast Bundle alternatives at a glance

These options are grouped by use case, not ranked overall. Fudge appears first because we build it; its limits are stated alongside the dedicated bundle apps. We selected the six options by checking their live listings, then matching Fast Bundle use cases against SKU and order output, fulfilment, offer coverage, pricing, and migration risk.

Shopify BundlesSimple fixed bundles and multipacksFixed bundles and multipacksComponent inventory; individual component SKUs listed in orders; no subscriptionsFree89

The most important distinction is easy to miss: component inventory sync, individual SKUs in the admin order, and separate lines in the customer’s cart are three different behaviours. Ask every vendor which one it supports, then place a full test order.

Fudge: best for a native, custom rebuild

Fudge is not a bundle app in the usual sense. It is an AI storefront editor that can inspect surviving theme code and rebuild the page in Liquid, CSS, and JavaScript from screenshots, URLs, or a written map of the old offer. It cannot recover settings stored only inside a deactivated Fast Bundle account.

That makes it a strong Fast Bundle alternative when the storefront experience matters as much as the discount:

The work happens in a draft theme. You can review the code and test the full cart and checkout flow before publishing. The resulting page lives in your theme, so it does not disappear if you later uninstall Fudge.

Where Fudge is weaker: it is not a dedicated subscription billing or warehouse bundle engine. If your 3PL needs a specific bundle-parent-to-component order transformation, pair the custom storefront with Simple Bundles or another proven fulfilment layer.

Choose Fudge if: you want to replace the lost offer with a branded experience you own, or the available bundle widgets cannot reproduce your design and logic.

Our guide to creating a Shopify bundle page shows how the native storefront route differs from a dedicated bundle app.

Simple Bundles & Kits: best for individual SKU breakdown

For the merchant asking, “Will each component reach my warehouse as the right SKU?”, Simple Bundles & Kits is the clearest first test.

Its App Store listing explicitly includes automatic bundle SKU breakdown, real-time inventory, and connections to 3PL, warehouse, ERP, POS, and subscription tools. It covers fixed bundles, multipacks, mix-and-match, BYOB, BOGO, volume discounts, and subscription boxes.4

The free plan supports three bundles and 50 monthly orders. The Basic plan starts at $14 per month, with higher pricing tied to the merchant’s Shopify plan rather than bundle revenue.

Trade-off: it is a fulfilment-first choice. If you need a highly art-directed bundle page, expect to customise its storefront layer or pair the bundle logic with a native page.

Choose Simple Bundles if: accurate component inventory, subscription bundles, or 3PL order output is the requirement you cannot compromise.

Rebolt: closest broad feature replacement

Fast Bundle combines many offer types in one app. Rebolt Bundles & Upsell follows the same broad model.

Its listing includes fixed and mix-and-match bundles, build-a-box, BOGO, Buy X Get Y, free gifts, product add-ons, frequently bought together, cart offers, checkout upsells, and post-purchase offers. It also lists Shopify POS and subscription-app compatibility.5

That makes Rebolt a useful first trial if you were using Fast Bundle as a full AOV toolkit rather than only a bundle builder.

Trade-off: the App Store listing does not clearly promise the exact component-line output your warehouse will receive. Test cart, checkout, the Shopify admin order, inventory movement, refunds, and 3PL ingestion before you make the switch permanent.

Choose Rebolt if: you want one app to replace most of Fast Bundle’s bundle and upsell surfaces at a flat paid price.

Easy Bundles: best for BYOB and gift boxes

Easy Bundles by Skai Lama is built around guided bundle builders. It is a good fit for “pick any five”, gift boxes, routines, meal kits, and other offers where the selection flow is the product.

The paid plans add single-step and multi-step builders, independent landing-page templates, filters, categories, multi-language support, multi-currency, advanced discounts, subscriptions, gifts, and add-ons.6

Trade-off: its pricing grows with monthly bundle sales. The current free plan ends at $500 in bundle sales, the $29 plan at $3,000, and the $49 plan at $5,000. A successful bundle can move through those tiers quickly.

Choose Easy Bundles if: the guided BYOB experience is more important than getting the lowest monthly fee.

Bundler: best low-cost replacement

Bundler offers unusually broad coverage for its price.

The free tier includes unlimited revenue and orders for Buy X Get Y, volume discounts, product-page upsells, auto-applied discounts, and Shopify POS. The $8.99 Premium plan adds mix-and-match, tiered and sectioned mix-and-match, landing pages, and funnel upsells.7

That is enough for many stores that were paying Fast Bundle to run one or two offer types.

Trade-off: the interface is more functional than bespoke, and a feature listed in the App Store is not proof it behaves exactly like your old setup. High-variant products, unusual subscription combinations, and warehouse rules need real order tests.

Choose Bundler if: cost matters and you need more than Shopify’s fixed-bundle app.

Shopify Bundles: fastest free recovery for fixed sets

The first-party Shopify Bundles app is the simplest first-party path when your offer is a defined set of products sold together.

It creates fixed bundles and multipacks, lets shoppers choose component variants, and updates component inventory in real time. Individual component SKUs are listed in orders rather than the parent bundle SKU. It is free, supports up to 30 components in a fixed bundle, and does not support subscriptions or other selling plans.89

The limitation is scope. It does not replace a full mix-and-match builder, gift-box flow, cart upsell system, or Fast Bundle’s broad campaign toolkit. Complex variant combinations can also hit Shopify Bundles limits.

Choose Shopify Bundles if: you need a simple fixed set live quickly and can accept the default product-page experience. Our guide to native Shopify bundles vs bundle apps explains where the native route stops.

How to migrate without breaking fulfilment

Do not judge a replacement from its demo store. Run this test in your own Shopify setup:

  1. Map the old offer. Record the products, variants, rules, discount, bundle URL, images, copy, and placement.
  2. Protect live revenue. Pause ads that land on missing offers or send them to a working product page.
  3. Isolate what you can. Build the storefront layer in a duplicate theme, keep new bundle products and discounts inactive or unpublished, and confirm that the app does not inject code or settings globally before configuring it.
  4. Test every selection path. Include sold-out components, high quantities, variant changes, mobile, and different markets.
  5. Place a real test order. Check the cart, checkout, admin order, inventory, confirmation email, 3PL, refund flow, and analytics.
  6. Test discount combinations. Try welcome codes, free shipping, automatic discounts, subscriptions, and any B2B pricing you use.
  7. Switch traffic only after the order passes. A good-looking widget is not a working fulfilment system.
  8. Audit the old code before deleting it. Shopify warns that some apps add theme code that is not removed automatically on uninstall.10 Follow our leftover app-code cleanup guide and work from a duplicate.
  9. Review the replacement vendor. Check requested permissions, its privacy and security documentation, support response, and data-export options.

Should you reinstall Fast Bundle or switch?

Reinstalling can be reasonable if your old configuration returns, the full buying path passes, and you are comfortable with Fast Bundle’s response. Fast Bundle says Shopify completed its review of both security reports, considers the issue resolved on Fast Bundle’s side, and restored the app to limited visibility on July 30. The official App Store listing was live and presented an Install button when checked on August 3.12

Treat the security and configuration statements as the vendor’s findings, not independent guarantees. The incident and penetration-test reports are not public, and Shopify says settings or data from an uninstalled app might not always be restored.10 Preserve a written map of your offers, reinstall only from the official listing, and place a complete test order before restoring paid traffic.

Switch if the reinstall does not restore your setup, the offer fails testing, or another option better fits your inventory, 3PL, subscription, storefront-design, or pricing requirements. If paid traffic is still landing on a broken offer, use a temporary fixed bundle or redirect the campaign while you make the permanent decision.

FAQ

What is the best Fast Bundle alternative?

Simple Bundles is the strongest first test when individual SKU breakdown and 3PL fulfilment matter most. Rebolt is closer to Fast Bundle's broad mix of bundles and upsells, Bundler is the low-cost choice, Easy Bundles is strong for guided BYOB flows, and Shopify Bundles works for simple fixed sets. Fudge is best when you want the storefront experience rebuilt as native code.

Which Fast Bundle alternative splits bundles into individual SKUs?

Simple Bundles & Kits makes the clearest public promise: automatic bundle SKU breakdown with real-time inventory and 3PL integrations. Do not stop at the feature label. Place a test order and confirm the component lines in Shopify admin, inventory, fulfilment software, returns, and customer notifications.

Is there a free alternative to Fast Bundle?

Yes. Shopify Bundles is free for fixed bundles and multipacks. Bundler has a free tier for Buy X Get Y and volume offers, while Simple Bundles and Easy Bundles have limited free tiers. Check current plan limits before moving live traffic.

Can I rebuild a Fast Bundle offer without another bundle app?

Yes, for many common offers. Fudge can build a fixed, mix-and-match, BYOB, volume-tier, or BOGO experience in your theme and use Shopify's native cart and discount tools. Use a dedicated app as well if your subscription provider or warehouse needs bundle-specific order processing.

Will my Fast Bundle settings come back?

Fast Bundle says previous bundle configurations will be restored when existing merchants reinstall, but verify that on your own store. Shopify says settings or data from an uninstalled app might not always be restored, so preserve screenshots and a written map of every offer before relying on recovery.

Is Fast Bundle available on the Shopify App Store again?

Yes. As of August 3, 2026, Fast Bundle's official Shopify App Store listing is live and presents an Install button. Fast Bundle says Shopify restored the app to limited visibility on July 30, allowing existing merchants to reinstall through its direct listing.

How do I switch bundle apps without downtime?

Build and test the replacement in a duplicate theme, keep the old URLs or prepare redirects, and place a real order through cart, checkout, Shopify admin, inventory, and 3PL. Pause ads to broken bundle URLs until the full test passes. Publish the replacement only after its discount and fulfilment behaviour match the old offer.
