We’re excited to share that Fudge has officially achieved Built for Shopify status. This is Shopify’s highest quality certification for apps, and we’re proud to have earned it.
What is Built for Shopify?
Built for Shopify is a certification program that recognizes apps meeting Shopify’s most rigorous standards. Less than 7% of apps in the Shopify App Store have earned this badge.1
To qualify, apps must meet strict requirements across three areas:
- Performance: Apps cannot slow down your storefront by more than 10 performance points
- Design: Apps must follow Shopify’s design standards for a consistent admin experience
- Integration: Apps must use Shopify’s latest technology standards for full compatibility2
Apps are reviewed at least once annually to ensure they continue meeting all criteria.3 It’s not a one-time achievement - it’s an ongoing commitment.
